Drying out your home is only half the job. Once water, fire or mold damage is cleaned up, the drywall, ceilings, floors and cabinets that had to come out still need to go back in. That is build back, and Tidal Restoration does it.
Because we are also the team that dried and documented your home, the rebuild starts from our own moisture readings, photos and measured floor plans. You don’t have to find a separate contractor, explain the damage all over again, or wait for someone new to get up to speed.
We’re a Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1541935), an IICRC Certified Firm (#70035773) and a licensed mold remediator (MRSR5578). Verify our licenses.

What We Rebuild
- Drywall and ceilings. New drywall hung, taped, finished and textured, including moisture-resistant and mold-resistant board where it fits the space.
- Paint. Walls, ceilings and trim primed and painted.
- Baseboards, casing and trim.
- Flooring. Replacement flooring where the old floor couldn’t be saved.
- Cabinets and countertops. Base cabinets and countertops replaced after water damage.
- Bathrooms and showers. Vanities, toilets and showers reset or replaced.
- Framing and subfloor repairs.
- Fixtures, outlets and switches reset after demolition.
Why Use One Company From Cleanup to Rebuild
- No handoff. The crew that removed the damaged materials knows exactly what came out and why.
- Dry before it’s closed up. New drywall doesn’t go up until our moisture readings show the structure is dry, so moisture isn’t sealed inside your walls.
- One estimate, one file. Mitigation and rebuild are written in Xactimate, the estimating software most insurance carriers use, backed by the same photos, readings and floor plans.
- One point of contact for you and your adjuster, from the first call to the final walkthrough.
How Build Back Works
- Dry and document. We finish mitigation and confirm with moisture readings that the structure is dry.
- Measure and estimate. A LiDAR scan gives us measured floor plans, and we write the rebuild estimate in Xactimate.
- Review the scope. We go over the estimate with you, and with your adjuster if there’s a claim, before work starts.
- Rebuild. Framing, drywall, texture, paint, trim, flooring, cabinets and fixtures go back in.
- Final walkthrough. We walk the finished work with you and close out the job file.
Rebuilding After Water, Fire or Mold
After water damage. Walls and floors go back only after the readings say dry. In bathrooms, laundry rooms and other wet areas we use moisture-resistant drywall.
After mold remediation. The rebuild starts once remediation is complete, with mold-resistant drywall where it fits the space.
After fire and smoke. Once cleanup is done, we replace damaged materials and refinish the affected rooms.
Condos. We rebuild inside your unit and coordinate with your association when a leak involves more than one unit.
Frequently Asked Questions About Build Back
Are you licensed to do the rebuild?
Yes. Tidal Restoration is a Florida Certified General Contractor, license CGC1541935. You can verify it on our Licenses & Credentials page.
Do I have to use the same company for cleanup and rebuild?
No, it’s your choice. Many homeowners keep the same company because the rebuild starts from the records we already have, but you’re never required to.
Will my insurance cover the rebuild?
That depends on your policy and the cause of the damage. We write the estimate in Xactimate and work directly with your adjuster on the scope.
Can you match my existing texture, paint and trim?
We match existing finishes as closely as we can. If a material is no longer made, we’ll go over options with you before anything is installed.
How long does build back take?
It depends on how much has to be rebuilt and, if there’s a claim, on insurance approval. We’ll give you a schedule once the scope is agreed.
